Introduction
Richard Kerber Photography is an independent studio specializing in child portraiture in a contemporary natural style.
In 2005 we introduced this style to nurseries and playgroups and it has proved very popular, with sales usually 2-3 times what the nurseries had experienced with other photographers and the mainstream companies, translating into higher commissions for the nurseries
Benefits
The secret to the success is that the parents are typically given a set of proofs showing 4 poses to choose from. The poses are all different and parents can order any or all of the four poses.
There is a wide range of packages to suit all pockets and also single prints are available. Very often parents select 1 or 2 packages and then single photographs of the others not included in the packages. Parents can also select black & white pictures if they like.
Although the packages and photographs are reasonably priced they have a much higher perceived value than traditional school pictures. We know this as we frequently receive comments that they are good value when compared with studio photography prices.
Fast Turnaround time and Guaranteed Quality
Proof sheets and order forms are delivered back to the nursery within a week of the photo session. These are in clear bags for easy identification; the order forms are simple and self-explanatory with envelopes for payments. There is a helpline number if parents have any queries .
Most nurseries allow about 10 – 14 days for parents to decide and get their orders back to the school. We will collect the orders from you and guarantee delivery back to you within 14 days (usually faster).
We use our own dedicated lab so our work is not in a queue with other school photographs and we keep a keen eye on print quality.
Generous Commission
Our commission rates are in line with other organizations but because our sales are invariably higher you will be pleased with the extra commission. We pay you commission immediately with the delivery of the photographs, along with a detailed printout so you have a record of the sales.

Booking your photo-session
We recommend booking in plenty of time as dates fill up rapidly before Easter and Christmas Holidays. Some dates are already booked by our regular nurseries as they rebook as soon as they finish the last one.
